Musician Emily Jensen is a long time singer songwriter who hails originally from Alaska.
She has a special love of folk, soul and Americana music and is currently focused on putting out great funk and soul tunes in the NW. ALthough living in Eugene, she studied music therapy and opera at Loyola University and performed in New Orleans, Louisiana. In 2006 with musician and producer David Gray, Emily released an original EP titled, “First Glance.” She has shared the stage with world class musicians like Taj Mahal, Sarah Jane McMahon, Bryan Hymel, Galactic, The Motet, Marv Ellis, Medium Troy, Reeble Jar, Ellis, Jason & Branford Marsalis and many others.
Here in Oregon, you can hear her perform as the lead singer with long time band, Eleven Eyes as well as Eugene musician Tim McLaughlin as part of the Duo “The Long Hello”.
