Lane County produces some of the finest Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and other wines that rival those from France and other premiere wine regions in the world. In my travels around Lane County’s wineries, I’ve found that less than a handful of the local wineries do justice to the mysterious, yet fickle Pinot Grape.
One of those wineries is Pfeiffer Winery located west of Junction City.
Robin & Danuta Pfeiffer of Pfeiffer Winery create amazing wines that exceed the expectations of those who prefer the lighter, yet more complex nature of Pinot wines. The tasting room at the winery evokes a feeling of comfort and a sense of place in Europe.
